This variety comes from the Burgundy region in France. It likely originated as a spontaneous crossbreed between Pinot blanc and Heunisch. In our local conditions, the variety matures technologically by the end of September or early October. The grapes from which this wine was made came from Central Slovakia vineyard area from the Čebovce vineyard village.
