This variety likely came into being as a crossbreed between the Cabernet franc and Sauvignon varieties. It’s grown all around the world. Our winery produces this wine from grapes which were grown in the vineyard villages of Bušince, Valice, and Sečianky. Cabernet Sauvignon has a rather long vegetative period which is why we usually harvest it by the end of October or early November. The grapes from which this wine was made came from Central Slovakia vineyard area.
