A variety typical of northern growing areas, such as Slovakia. It is considered the king of white wine grape varieties. It belongs to the late-harvest varieties, as the grapes reach technological maturity in the second half of October to early November. The processed grapes come from the Central Slovak Wine Region of Príbelce, the Za starou búdou vineyard.
